Clarksons Platou is the world’s leading provider of integrated shipping services and has been for 167 years. Around 85% of world trade is carried on ships – equivalent to more than a tonne of cargo for every individual on the planet, every year. Due to some recent acquisitions and corporate restructuring Brightful was asked to help refine Clarksons’ company purpose.
We like to keep things simple. To define Clarksons’ purpose in a way that connects with its stakeholders, employees, clients and investors and make it future proof we emphasised the difference between purpose, brand and culture. This resulted in clear and simple recommendations for the Clarksons senior team to refine their purpose and messaging.
