01 Where we started

Our Founder's Headquarters

Brightful was started in February 2017 from a studio space above a double garage at Richard and Camilla’s home. They called the company Brightful after a camping holiday in France as they wanted their creative consultancy to be ‘full of bright ideas’. The business started providing consulting for agencies in London and Southampton and grew from there.

02 Away from the city

Brightful’s Winchester studio is next to Richard and Camilla’s vegetable patch and close to their chicken coop. When they are not looking after clients, they can be found spending time with their three children, tending to their veg patch and looking after their chickens.

Brightful’s Winchester Studio is situated 30 mins drive from Southampton and Basingstoke, 40 mins drive from Oxford and Newbury and less than 1 hours’ train journey to London Waterloo. Brightful’s Winchester studio is suited to support client meetings in London, Southampton and the South West of England.

As a remote creative consultancy, Brightful can service clients in any location around the world.

04 Beyond the round table

A thriving digital city hub

Winchester is a historic city in Hampshire, on the edge of England’s South Downs National Park. It’s known for it’s medieval Winchester Cathedral, where Richard and Camilla’s middle son is a chorister and sings regularly with the world-class Winchester Cathedral Choir. The city is also famous for its beautiful Christmas market.
